Vista Lens Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Vista Lens does with your information, in plain language. Vista Lens is a film-style camera app for iPhone.

1. Who we are

Vista Lens is published by Scrivo App. You can reach us at scrivoapp@gmail.com. Use this address for any question or privacy request.

2. Your photos and videos stay on your device

The camera, the editing tools and your styles all work on your device. Photos and videos you take in Vista Lens stay on your device and in your own Photos library. We do not upload them.

3. Accounts are optional

You do not need an account to use the camera, create styles or edit photos. An account is needed only to use the Community, which means publishing styles and having a profile. You sign in with Sign in with Apple.

If you create an account, we receive and store:

• The display name you choose.
• An identifier provided by Apple that is unique to you and our app.
• An Instagram handle, only if you choose to add one to show on your profile.

4. What you publish to the Community

When you publish a style to the Community, we store the style settings, its name, and up to 5 sample photos that you choose to upload as previews. Photos are compressed before they are uploaded. Published styles, their names and their sample photos are public and can be seen by other Community users.

Only the photos you pick as previews are uploaded. Nothing else from your Photos library leaves your device.

5. Other Community activity

We also store Community activity so the Community works and stays safe. This includes download counts for styles, reports that users send us, and the list of people a user has blocked.

6. Where data is stored

Community data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase. It is used only to run the Community and to keep it safe.

7. No tracking and no ads

We do not track you. Vista Lens has no advertising and no analytics SDKs. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

8. Permissions

Vista Lens asks for these permissions, and uses them only for the features you see in the app:

• Camera, to show the viewfinder and take photos and videos.
• Microphone, to record sound when you shoot video.
• Photos, to save what you shoot and to let you pick photos to edit or to use as Community previews.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and Community profile inside the app. Go to Styles, then Community, then your profile, then choose Delete account.

Deleting your account removes your profile and the content you published from our servers, and it revokes the Sign in with Apple connection. Backups are cleared within a reasonable period. Photos and videos on your own device are not affected.

10. Children

Vista Lens is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
